World Pasta Day has been celebrated on October 25th since 1995, when 40 producers got together around a table to decide on its officiality.
An occasion we would like to celebrate because of the great affinity that has always linked Ricciarelli to the pasta's industry.

The first meeting between Ricciarelli and Besana dates back to the early 70's. Since that day, we have traveled a long way together in the name of research, development and testing new ideas.
We met the #1 of Besana, Pino Calcagni, who shared with us a bit of history and told us about the attention and the care needed to protect and preserve the dried and dehydrated fruit that for years they have brought throughout the world.

Granoro pasta factory asserts itself both on Italian and worldwide markets and the production has grown from 150 quintals of pasta per day to the current 3500.
To reach numbers like these, it was necessary to equip the plant with high-tech systems that guaranteed an high standard of production and that facilitated the management of the high rate of return. And precisely in this context Ricciarelli Packaging Systems, partner of the Granoro company since the 1980s, has entered and today it continues to provide complete integrated solutions for packaging.
On Monday 14 December 2020, on the occasion of the special "Packaging industry and manufacturers of packaging machines - Excellent realities", Ricciarelli S.p.A. appeared on the pages of the national newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore.
«2020 was a difficult year, but even in this emergency situation Ricciarelli achieved good results - commented the administrator Marino Milella - We continued to work protecting the health of our collaborators first of all, adopting all the necessary protocols for the production and logistics departments and using the smart working system for the offices».

Today we tested our VS100 AV packer in streaming connection with one of our Eastern Europe customer who was able to see the packaging system in action before receiving it in his factory, because the emergency linked to Covid-19 made them impossible to travel to Pistoia.
Through a videocall, we have first shown to the customer the machine running for the production of block bottom bags and then, after a short change, running for the production of pillow bags.
On 2 January 1963, "Garibaldo Ricciarelli S.p.A." was founded by Aldo and Mario Ricciarelli in order to manufacture the first packaging machines in addition to existing business.
