Ricciarelli lines work with compostable packages

Pasta Agnesi, by Colussi Group, has inaugurated a new line of packaging for pasta made of 100% compostable material. This new film is produced with raw materials deriving from cellulose and corn and it is recoverable in the wet: this allows it to be sent to industrial composting and transformed into fertile soil within 90 days.
To make the entire package compostable, the ink used for printing must comply with certain parameters, as well as the label for closing the double square bottom bags too. In this way each component of the pasta package can be disposed with organic waste.

This type of film is successfully used on Ricciarelli packaging lines, recently installed in the Colussi pasta factory in Fossano (CN), with which double square bottom and pillow packs are made.
